Through EMDR Cambodia, the Mekong III Project in collaboration with ADHOC Cambodia organized and conducted a two and half days training on “psychological self-care” for focal point and core staff who are working on human rights and legal assistance service provisions to women and children in Cambodia. The goal of the training was to raise awareness on psychological self-care for staff and to improve the quality of work, service provision as well as performance with their target beneficiaries and traumatized population. This training was held at Town View Hotel, Phnom Penh on 23-25 April 2018. There were 27 participants (21 females) as lawyers, provincial coordinators, field monitors, and managers who are working in different target areas of Cambodia participated in this training. They are from Kpg. Speu, Ratanakiri, Stung Treng, Kpg. Chhnang, Mondulkiri, O. Meanchey, Sihanoukville, Prey Veng, Siem Reap, Kompot, B. Mean Chey, Kratie, Preah Vihea, Svay Rieng, Kpg. Thom, Takeo, Battambang, Tbong Khmum, Kpg. Cham, and Phnom Penh.
