On Friday, July 19, 2019, the Mekong III Project of EMDR Cambodia Association organized a workshop on “Understanding Mental Health and Trauma”. The workshop took place at Khemara1 at Battambang province. There were 48 participants from 32 NGOs working in Battambang.
The workshop was hosted by Mr. OM Plaktin (Treatment Coordinator) and Ms. SAUT Rachny (Assistant of Training Unit) as well as colleagues from Battambang province. Taking this opportunity, the Mekong III Project of EMDR Cambodia Association would like to thank you for your participation in this workshop. Additionally, we are especially grateful to “Phare Ponleu Selpak” who has been involved in organizing events to attend this workshop.
As the members and colleagues of EMDR Association Cambodia, we are mourning for Dr. Francine Shapiro. We would like to share our love and memories of her.
Dr. Francine Shapiro is the founder and a great master of EMDR. She has worked very hard to make EMDR grow and to be developed to be one of the most effective trauma treatments. While we are mourning the loss, millions of people who suffered from traumatic experiences are recovering and living in a better life.
