With ongoing projects, we are seeking a qualified candidate to fulfil the Full-Time position of Provincial Manager to join our team to promote mental health in Cambodia.

Background
As one of the non-profit associations in Mental Health in Cambodia, EMDR Association Cambodia specializes in mental health improvement through training, counselling, and research. With offices in Phnom Penh, Battambang, and Siem Reap, we've been making strides in mental health since 2013, recognized by the Ministry of Interior. Our work spans five key provincial areas in partnership with non-governmental and governmental bodies.
Thanks to funding from BMZ via Johanniter International Assistance for our IMARP project, we're looking for dedicated professionals for two crucial positions. It is a chance to make a real difference in mental health care in Cambodia.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and evaluate mental health projects and planned activities at the provincial level.
- Coordinator the working process of coordinators and therapists by promoting learning and growth.
- Engage with stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and NGO partners.
- Develop, deliver, or coordinate psychological training for mental health professionals /para-professionals.
- Monitor project outcomes and impact.
- Advocate for mental health awareness and stigma reduction based on the project planned activities and objectives.
- Monitor detailed project activities, and prepare outcome and challenges reports.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology or a relevant field.
- Experience in managing or coordinating mental health projects.
- Background in working with traumatized populations.
- Proven experience in providing training to mental health professionals.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Cultural competency and respect for Cambodian context.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to changing needs.
- Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Empathy and sensitivity towards traumatized populations.
- Effective networking and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in project management.
