EMDR Association Cambodia is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving mental health in Cambodia. We focus on providing psychotherapy, mainly using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), to help individuals heal from trauma. Our work involves collaborating with local communities, healthcare providers, and government agencies to strengthen mental health services nationwide through enhancing psychological services, training and workshops, and evidence-based studies in the mental health and trauma field.

• Conduct assessments to identify psychological needs and trauma history.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including EMDR therapy.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support networks.
• Participant in community outreach and mental health education events/campaigns
• Stay updated on trauma therapy and EMDR research and practices.

• Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social work, or related field.
• Experienced in treating trauma, preferably in a post-conflict or developing country context.
• Fluency in Khmer and good at English for case study development and relevant reports.
• Being certified in EMDR or willing to obtain certification could be value-adding.
