Our EMDR Cambodia Team

EMDR Cambodia consists of highly motivated employees specialized in psychology and other areas. All therapists have a Master in Clinical Psychology, completed trainings in EMDR trauma therapy as well as in various other fields and have extensive experience in psychotherapy.

The General Assembly

The General Assembly is the top leading body of EMDR Cambodia. It includes ordinary and extraordinary General Assemblies. The ordinary General Assembly is held once a year with the participation of the founding members, honorary and active members of the association at the invitation by the President of the Association. The employees have the right to attend, but not to vote.

The Executive Committee

EMDR’s Executive Committee (see description below) handles daily operations, urgent matters, and makes key decisions on behalf of the General Assembly. They oversee the implementation of General Assembly policies and ensure the organization’s smooth functioning when the General Assembly isn’t convened.

Advisory Board

The primary and significant purpose of EMDR’s Advisory Board is to advise the Executive Committee of the Association regarding technical aspects, budget, and other important issues. The ultimate responsibility for making governance policy and deciding what the Association will seek to accomplish belongs to the General Assembly.

Members

The members are the backbone of EMDR Cambodia. Together, they form the supreme body the General Assembly. Membership is open to individuals working in the mental health field as Associate Members, and to professionals who have been trained in and are practicing EMDR treatment as Full Members. We welcome you to join us in supporting and promoting mental health in Cambodia.
